Meet Our Experienced Tattoo Artist JoAnne 'Mojo' Shipperbottom

Mojo has been drawing her entire life and tattooing since 2001. She took over a shop in the Haymarket in 2001 and kept tattooing there until 2007, when she had her second child and decided to take some time off.

Mojo shut down her shop for six months and reopened at the current location, which has enabled her to welcome more artists.

Custom work is Mojo’s focus and she wants to create tattoos especially designed for each individual. She enjoys black-and-gray work but loves when color designs pop on an individual's skin! She's thankful for all the clients who keep returning, and meeting the new customers they refer.
